Keeping Up With the LEGO Indiana Joneses
Building on the runaway success of Traveller's Tales' LEGO Star Wars series, publisher LucasArts and developer partner TT Games announced LEGO Indiana Jones: The Videogame, due out on unspecified consoles next summer. The announcement follows news that LEGO will begin producing playsets based on the fedora-wearing adventurer in January 2008.
LEGO Indiana Jones is developed by the team behind LEGO Star Wars, and incorporates the three released Indiana Jones films. "It has been a real joy to work with LucasArts on the LEGO Star Wars games," said TT Games director Tom Stone. "Indy also presents us with wonderful and memorable cinematic moments. The boulder scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark in LEGO is hilarious!"
