In addition to a Wonder Woman render and a new trailer, nine more Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe screenshots have been released by publisher Midway. The shots include a first look at the beloved DC villain Joker and the imaginative superhero Green Lantern.
Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe will hit PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 10. Shackvideo users can use the HD Stream.Alright, that may not be entirely accurate, but that's not the important thing. The important thing is that Mortal Kombat vs. DC isn't terrible. Despite the Teen rating, there are still fatalities, and plenty of blood, and some relatively interesting moves. Watching the Flash repeatedly zip from one side of the screen to the other, juggling an enemy with punches, was sort of funny. That's what I would do if I was the Flash.
On the MK side of things, Scorpion looks like Scorpion, and still uses the most awkwardly infamous video game weapon known to man, like the Gordon's Fisherman from hell. Sonya does her thing, kicking and punching and being the only human of the bunch. Mortal Kombat is so weird.
Much has been made about the DC hero characters' lack of fatalities. As Batman, a Midway rep demonstrated a "brutality," which consisted of the Dark Knight pounding Sub-Zero into the pavement, up to his ears in cement. "All of the MK characters and all of the DC villains will have fatalities," Boon told GameSpot. "The DC heroes who don't kill that often will have brutalities that will function just like fatalities but don't actually kill the opponent."

Only four characters--Batman, Superman, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion--have been confirmed for the magical fighter, with more to debut at E3 in July.
Titled Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and developed by Midway Amusement Games, the Unreal Engine 3-powered brawler is set to arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall. Only four characters have been confirmed thus far: Superman and Batman, both of DC Comics fame, and Mortal Kombat veterans Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
