Morrowind Interview

Bethesda's Todd Howard has been interviewed on PC Game Central, answering some more questions about the upcoming RPG Morrowind. Questions are about the storyline, how the game compares to the previous Elderscrolls games, differences between the Xbox and PC version, time it takes to complete the game, how Bethesda plans to support the mod community and several other things.

Morrowind Pre-Orders

Bethesda is now taking pre-orders for their upcoming RPG Morrowind. There are several editions for the PC and Xbox versions of the game. Also the Morrowind website now has the game's 13 birthsigns. These can be used as part of the character generation process in the game. But that's not all, there is a new wallpaper as well.

Morrowind Feature

The zany Belgians at de Spelletjesgarnaal recently made a trip to the Bethesda offices in Maryland, and came back with all kinds of stuff on Morrowind. Though their preview of the game is not in English, they do have several team member video interviews which you can watch. Four additional movies show character creation, disposition, hacking & slashing and the quest editor.

Another Morrowind today, this one at Team Xbox. Pete Hines of Bethesda Softworks answers some more questions about this upcoming RPG, the third in the series of Elder Scrolls games. There are questions about the storyline, what the PC version has over the Xbox version, the amount of items and characters, what kind of weapon attacks there are in the game, and more.

GameBanshee has conducted a brief interview with Pete Hines, director of marketing & PR at Bethesda. The GB guys ask him about the upcoming RPG Morrowind, with questions about how the game is coming along, how many hours people will get out of the game (looks like this will be one big ass game), if there's an auto-map function, the cap of the skill levels, special powers and more.

Morrowind Summit has posted three new screenshots showing off the water effect in the upcoming Morrowind RPG. The GeForce 4 was used for the water, though since there is no comparison shot its hard to say what the GeForce 4 actually does.

Morrowind Goes European

Bethesda today announced they have signed an agreement with Ubi Soft which means Ubi Soft will be publishing Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in Europe. The RPG game should appear in stores somewhere during Spring of this year for Xbox and PC.
